Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which CV Cleaner Pro ("we", "our", "us") issues refunds for purchases made on our platform. By purchasing a subscription or credit pack, you agree to the terms set out below. All payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment, provided that:
- The refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase
- You have processed fewer than 20 CVs during this period
- The account has not been suspended for violation of our Terms of Service
This guarantee applies only to your first subscription payment. Renewals and subsequent billing cycles are not eligible for the 14-day guarantee.
3. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date through the Billing page.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- You retain access to paid features until the period ends
- Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed, except as required by applicable law
4. Credit Packs
One-time credit packs (top-ups) are non-refundable once purchased, as they represent prepaid usage of the Service. Exceptions:
- Refunds may be issued if no credits from the pack have been consumed and the request is made within 14 days of purchase
- Credits do not expire and remain available on your account indefinitely
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
5. Service Failures
If the Service fails to deliver a processed CV due to a technical error on our side, the consumed credit will be automatically refunded to your account balance. If you experience a prolonged service outage (more than 24 consecutive hours), you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period.
6. EU Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. However, by completing your purchase and starting to use the Service, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed (i.e. once you have processed CVs using purchased credits).
This Refund Policy does not affect any statutory consumer rights you may have under your local jurisdiction.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Credits that have been consumed (used to process CVs)
- Subscription periods that have already elapsed
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Charges older than 60 days, unless required by applicable law
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at billing@cv-cleaner.pro with the following information:
- The email address associated with your account
- The Paddle order ID or invoice number
- The date of purchase
- The reason for your refund request
9. Processing Time
Refund requests are reviewed within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
10. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
